I absolutely needed something to just get them off my page but of course YouTube won't let you do that yourself.. thank you so so so so so so so much to the folks that made this.

lovely! when you do happen upon a short (like the shorts tab within a channel), it turns the short into a regular video to remove scrolling altogether. thx!

This is freaking amazing. So quick and easy to download. i think it took just 5sec. Now i can freely roam utube to change music etc. without having to risk getting distracted and go off track with shorts. removes the temptation

This is great, every service providing short form content should be obliged to offer an easy option to disable it because of the neurochemical ramifications that come with it. The most recent studies are even worse than anticipated... Just letting you know when watching a video, there are still shorts being recommended in the "watch next" list to the right of the screen. Would be great if that could be resolved as well. If you're on a public code hoster like GitHub/GitLab with this, I can create a PR myself. I'm talking about the ytd-reel-shelf-renderer inside the ytd-item-section-renderer.

just downloaded it a few minutes ago. I think I am going to love this. you cant click on the shorts button. thats the thing that gets me into doomscrolling. so far so good!!! then when you click on the home screen you dont get shorts reccomended. also good! from what ive seen its a nice add on. Didnt know you could do this stuff but it will help me. Love it
