1 star because it has nothing and the extension cannot be clicked. Also, the extension looks like false or a joke to some people as it doesn't work and the extension can't be clicked (as mentioned before). This company needs to be sued (requires permission first if you are under 18) or just email them about this extension about the concern about this (if possible)

The extension is used to aggregate usage data from school devices using their proprietary "EdTech" technology. It does not identify users. It is akin to surveillance, however it can be used for good things and bad things, such as both budgeting and monitoring students. However, it does use up 25% of CPU to activate the extension to give information and up to 50% when loading a new site. It also does not provide much information to the student, besides an ambiguous logo and a letter grade. It has no information in the extension aside from that. I do not believe there is use for such an extension

what the hell does this extension even do????? we have had this on our school Chromebooks for a while now and I still cant figure out its purpose, maybe its just disguised as some education thing so the schools can use this and dyknow to take every ounce of data and rights from us students.

This extension is the worst. Causes CPU usage to spike every time a new tab is open. Why can't schools install actual extensions that we will use. They also make it so we can't post reviews, and disable installing extensions.

cant search anything at all only pasted in urls from other browsers i use chrome to send school work files from my personal account to my school account and now i can even get into the google search page this makes it very difficult to turn in my assignments on time as i am still trying to find ways to send my work. This Extension is not in anyway helpful. The school laptops that my district sent out are slow as is but this makes my zoom/team meetings much slower as it eats up my ram and skyrockets my cpu usage i take ASL as a class so it is very important to have clear performance as he only talks to us through sign. I understand that this meant for content filtering and to monitor what student search/ do with their school laptops but this is more unhelpful than helpful
