It doesnt have thumbnail previews and video description. It also doesnt have the bottom border color letting you know if you watched the video. Other than that its a good workaround for now.

It's an improvement, but the thumbnails are far too big, and seem to be the same size as in grid layout, which means I only get to see two listings at once. I can see six in grid view. Please make the thumbnails at least three times smaller, or have an option to specify the size reduction. Basically, make list view operate as it used to.

Thank you for this extension, especially after Youtube's cancerous "update". Some suggestions for improvement. Please make the thumbnails smaller, preferably the same size as before. Also, please center the clickable space, and provide non-clickable space on both sides. Add back video description, and finally, please restore auto-preview on hover.

This extension has the basics right, giving us back the list layout in working format, but it needs further improvements to truly shine. Other reviewers ahve already listed multiple such imprevements, like smaller thumbnails and missing video description, but I'd like to also add that the video thumbnails no longer show how much they've been watched (the red bar at the bottom of the thumbnail) or the length of the video, and moving your cursor over the video no longer starts playing the preview of the video in question.

Thank you for addressing the vertical list mode. If you could add the ability to have the video auto-preview on mouse hover over the thumbnail, that would rock (in subscription list) !

It works. But there's one improvement that I would like to see. Could you please add the ability to have the channel name over the top of the video thumbnail in bold so we can immediately tell what channel each video is from. That's the way Youtube had it. The way the screen is set up with this extension, you need to squint at the spot underneath the title of the video to see the channel name. Having the channel name in bold, over the top of each thumbnail will make it much easier at a glance to see which videos are from what channels. Thank you.

This extension has big potential to restore things to the way they were, but I'm hoping more updates will be coming soon. The thumbnails are gigantic (almost as big as if the extension wasn't on), and I have to put my cursor almost all the way to the edge of the screen when scrolling so that an even bigger box doesn't immediately pop up any time I hover over one of the sections. Also, I had it set to view at least part of the video description as written by the uploaders, but that is also gone... :/ (that may be YouTube's fault, I don't know at this point) I also see that they've removed the List/Grid option everywhere, apparently, including in individual channels' Videos section, where I actually do WANT grid view. Is that possible to fix with this extension too? Will edit my review once things get tinkered with some more. ;)

Thumbnails look extremely zoomed in. Is a fix incoming? Nice work BTW, I've been using it for years. YouTube is unusable without it.

Great work. Thank you. I would like even smaller thumbnails, more like the last list view to allow more videos to show on screen for less scrolling. But I'll take what I can get.

Finally I want to use Youtube again. Thank you! Can't see the description but since so many people just cram the top of the description full of sponsor info, I guess we're not missing much.

Now that it updated to match the new YouTube updates, I love having my list view back, it's not quite the same as the list view I know but I will take it

As of the current YouTube update (Feb 4th, 2026), they removed list mode. This extension moves the overly large thumbnails back to the left with the video title next to it. No longer has part of the video description under the title, but this is a good fix for a stupid YT update that no one asked for.

Not working. YouTube forced everyone to grid view making it very hard to quickly browse latest videos.

As of today 2026, this extension seems to not work, as youtube subscription feed stays in grid mode.

List View doesn't seem to work for me and i hate the Grid view so much as it looks messy and it seems so confusing

All this seems to do is add "?flow=2" to the subscriptions url, which youtube has disabled, so this extension doesn't work. Youtube definitely wants everyone to have grid view, regardless of their preferred choice.

can you please add a little number to each video so when i wanna binge a channel i can track where i left off more easily (YouTube redux used to had it like that but thats no longer works) also idk if that's a problem for anybody else but sometime on channel pages the title of the video isn't fully visible

As advertised, this only works in the subscriptions list. I am searching for something that will list videos in a channel as well. You know. . . an option you would expect YouTube to support.
