UPDATE: works now, changed to 5 stars. I change the API key to Gemini. Now it works. I dont like the UX and UI very much, its somehow not very handy with the chat window and scrolling. But its pretty buggy at all. For me not effectively usable. #### Unfortunately it does not work :-( Browsing nodes... Reviewing node config.... but I do not get any workflow created... If its a user mistake and not the tool, I am happy to change my review. But I insert the API Key, activated the tab, started to prompt and nothing happens after several minutes of waiting.

I cant activate it, it sends an email link and gets logged in but still shows free plan. i subscribed to a paid version and it still shows "you currently have no active subscription". I feel cheated. Now i want to unsubscribe but dont have any link to unsubscribe. I dont want you to charge me next month for renewal.

Totally waste of time and no, I am not hitting rate limits with OpenAI API.

Hmm this would be such a super cool tool, I just don't understand how to set it up. I got the chrome extension installed than go to n8n than click on the chrome extension, than this black box opens then I put my gemini API key in and activate it and that all works. But then nothing happens there is no chatbox text window that pops up and I can't see anywhere what else I need to do. Please help.

after doing every thing i activated but search bar is not coming and it is deactivating automatically can give a solution for that

I've been using this Chrome extension, and overall, it's a solid tool that performs well for my needs. The interface is smooth, and it integrates nicely. However, the current support for GPT-4.1 and GPT-4o Mini, with their 30,000 TPM limit, feels a bit restrictive for my workflow. I’d love to see GPT-3.5 Turbo 0125 added, as its higher TPM limit would better suit my requirements. Adding this model would make the extension even more versatile and appealing. Great work so far, but I hope the developers consider this feature for future updates!

Can you make this work with OPENAI API compatable so people can use with their self hosted instances of things like LLMLite or AWSBedrock or Or other self hosted AI options? N8N is create for self hosting options, but your chat extension reverses the opensource self-hosting principle by forcing the only 2 option with public cloud AI LLM providers. Please give us the option to use a self-hosted solution.

Rarely working on the self hosted version for no apparent reason. I have indeed correctly set the oai credentials and verified it works.

This has great potential, but only works about 30% of the time right now. I also don't like that the developer is arguing with people in reviews claiming it isn't working, since I personally watched all setup videos and followed everything, and get some successful runs, with 70% unsuccessful.

Good idea but doesn't work, I input the prompt and it does nothing.

Terrible product, no matter how many prompts I wrote it would give no response and I followed setup instructions to a T. It would also burn through credits while not working.

The idea of the extension is great, however it still needs a bit of work. The issue is that it often burns credits and gives back no response at all, or it gets lost in it's own thought process. I recommend learning n8n for yourself, it will definitely help you in the long run. Start with simple workflows, get them to work with drag and drop, and build on that. Once this gets fixed or n8n's own ai debugger gets better it will definitely eliminate a lot of struggle and frustration users have.

Great idea and amazing when it works but not when it doesn't. Very buggy and still needs some work. Has high potential if dev can fix the bugs like freezes and losing the output and memory.

Other extensions I tried before this usually requires complex explanations, but n8n chat is very easy to use.

If you need to build an entire workflow without errors, n8n chat is the best extension for that.
