This has been pretty annoying to get set up on two different machines.

I got this to work very nicely while working on a UI - it connected from the mac desktop app to the extension in the browser. However, I am on the $20 plan, and suddenly I am not able to do much work before I run out of usage. I had no problems up until this point. I am not sure if the plugin is related or not, but it is highly suspicious that this just started. And there is no real way to see what constitutes "usage" in your account and where that usage is coming from. I am uninstalling.

10/10 extension, it fucking automates every task, it feels magical to see it doing it by itself. This is a proof of the Agentic era of AI!

Doesn't work very well, too slow, they need screenshots to work, what they need is what google did with antigravity and take full control over the DOM

Would give 5 star if we are able to access past work. Once it closed all the work memory gone. What's the use? it should work as agent.

Claude is good. This extension is not.

I want to like it, I really do, but it doesn't even function. The bare minimum doesn't work. I click the ext icon, and it opens a sidebar in the browser, and its entirely blank. Thats it, nothing else. I can literally do nothing with this ext.

I initially gave this a three-star rating because I think it is awesome, but I kept disconnecting as I see a lot of other people complaining about. I didn't realize there was a new update for it. As soon as I updated, I have never disconnected again! It works perfectly now!!!! I made sure I took the time to change my review from a three-star to a five-star because of this!

I know this is a BETA but still, they need to fix a lot of things to make this usable. Also, the biggest annoyance for me is it constantly creates new tab groups. It even takes a pinned tab, unpins it, and puts it in a tab group. Very annoying as I have to keep deleting these groups.

I'm on the basic $20 month plan and ran out of tokens...and was informed that I would have to wait 5 hrs before I could continue. Not a problem...I'm not in a hurry. The problem is there's no history to be found of the chat and can't tell where it left off. Likely I will have to start over to probably get to the point where it left off before and capture the history. I'll probably just use a different LLM and extension.

Your chrome extension keep disconecting, it doesn't work if I request Claude cowork to open multiple tabs and do multiple jobs. Launch your own Claude Browser instead!

If you are using a Mac u might have to install the Chrome controller extension in Claude? Maybe?

It's great when it works, but then it hits usage limit and I have no way to track how much usage anywhere is being used. Is there anyway to track usage for the extension specifically?

I don't know how this could have low reviews. This paired with Claude CoWork might be the single most revolutionary combo to ever hit knowledge work, analysis, sales, marketing. Its so valuable the $20 pro subscription doesn't matter, I dont think anyone can afford not to have it. Its like playing basketball and paying $20 to gain a 1ft in height and 10 years in experience. Just do it.

The desktop app connected once to google chrome and then isn't able to connect again. When I click on the extension it just opens up a new claude chat in the browser

Idk why this has such a bad review. Works great even from claude cowork/code on desktop and ofc in itself too. Id assume negative reviews come from those without subscription because its actually flawless

Amazing ... for website development / design that is. It is a tool, not an independent agent. And I got the impression that it is focused on Claude Code, not Claude. Keep that in mind. People out there who expect things to automagically happen, that is not how it works (yet). Wait until it has matured. When working with Claude Code: You ask questions about the site you are developing, your OWN site, it analyses it and can modify it almost independently for you. That is pretty cool. The good: It works most of the time quite well. The bad: It looses the connection sometimes, but most of the time it is able to reconnect. Don't forget; it is still an EARLY BETA and needs improvements and polishing (duh).

On Windows, Claude desktop does not recognize the extension.

Just a fail. Says connected to GMail then tells me it isn't. Goes away to do a task, then comes back after a time as it says I should use other software to complete the task! What's the point!

Extension does not sync with desktop, as others have noted. Somehow I have two identities shown on my work computer, both corresponding to my org account. If I choose the org name, it doesn't sync. When I choose my work email address, it asks me to choose a plan—and there is no way to log out from there without reinstalling the extension. I would omit it entirely but it's the only way to get Claude Code to create a web app. C'mon guys—do better. My 11-yr-old has more UX skill than you do.

Please stop shipping unfinished products, you guys acting like we don't have enough tools today to make sure everything works before deploying

Installed on Chrome (Mac) and waited for more than 10 minutes for authorization to work. Now uninstalling. Will wait until this is more mature.

Claude Code 9/10 times fails to detect the extension - incredibly flaky integration between the two. If this is how the future of AI-written software looks then we're in for a rough time!

If you will add option to: 1. Implement feedback what is doing same as Claude Code 2. Steering live when it's working. That's all I need.

Extension is not working without subscription. Go for some other LLM extension

I'm not sure how such a great company built such a broken extension. Maybe I'll try using Claude Code to build a better version of this broken extension.
