Actually the best link preview extension I've found and I've been searching for a long time. It's very intuitive and the developer really thought about quality of life features that make it really convenient to use.

It's good, but it won't open on certain websites. I've checked and the websites are not on the "Disabled on Websites" list.

Does not work in Vivaldi browser. Getting error message "network disconnected" -- another reviewer had the same result using the Brave Browser.

VERY GOOD

So far it works great, not only giving a popup on your selected term, but also having a Define box in by clicking the extension icon in the bar. What does NOT work well is when you have a term in an edit box that is spelled wrong, so you click on the red-squiggly term to get the proper spelling; but then the word is selected and this extension pops up the definition, not my intension and annoying every time it happens. But then, the last dictionary extension didn't even work in an edit box. <shug> Since the extension may not be able to detect when it's defining a just-spell-corrected term, it should probably offer the option to not function in an edit control.

Works great with Chrome and Edge! Unfortunately, I keep getting the "network disconnected" error with Brave.

doesnt work with a full screen window

Doesn't work at all in Chrome. I was hoping you can click a word and get a pop-up window with the meaning but no. Even when you right click and select 'define' using this extension, nothing happens. Even the extension search box in the toolbar returns nothing.

It works. The main problem is that on Ecosia.org the "Hover" feature doesn't work and the button "Search" doesn't appear. You have to right-click the link and launch the extension from there. Furthermore, you can only choose between Big Techs search engines to make the research. Not exactly what I was looking for when I downloaded your app, but for now I'll stick with it - untill I'll find something better or you'll fix this. In the last case, I'll change my review for the better. Anyway, is the source code available somewhere?

Slow to load when double-clicking a word

The extension does not work. When I select some text and click on Define Word, it does nothing. I do not know what is the problem I disabled other extensions and tried again but in vain. Kindly look into this

Great and does the job, would love it to be more customizable and more "animated", i used the maxfocused extension which is awesome and it has a really cool pop up animation. also id love to be able to long click to open the preview.

EDIT - SEE BOTTOM OF THIS COMMENT !!! ignore ratting, google needs a star rating to allow review (fair enough), but i need to report an issue, and i've gone to the developer's website to report, but their "report issue" github page is 404 <shrugs> Today the extension has gone bananas and instantly pops-up regardless if i hover over search URL's and then somehow speeds through URL's about 5 per second trying to load everything, not even sure if they're URL's from the search results. It burns CPU cycles on my 10-core Intel 10900x and you can't close the pop-up window, can't stop the URL's it's finding from constantly loading non-stop effectively locking you out of your browsing session on that tab o.O https://youtu.be/0EnrLFRlrsA ... EDIT: DISREGARD !!! It was ANOTHER extension causing the issue - "Gifs autoplay for Google", disabled it and everything went back to normal, including this extension working 100% again :) Sorry for the false alarm, i left feedback on the offending extension's page and hopefully they fix it, otherwise i'll simply remove that extension :)

This listens to your voice for your search terms, and if you pause speaking even for just 2 seconds to think about good search terms to add, it just goes ahead and submits what you've spoken already to the search engine. What if there was a mistake in its comprehension of what you said? You're out of luck. It gives you zero opportunity to correct mistakes. I looked for way to disable automatic submission of my voice activated search terms. There's no such setting to change this behavior at this time. Unless you're able to express what you want to say in one continuous sentence, without any pauses, and somehow your spoken words are perfect enough for the speech engine to never mistakes I don't recommend this at all. It may be five times faster than typing, but imagine how frustrating it is to make mistakes five times faster than typing with no way to correct them by either voice or keyboard. This extension could be very good. It just needs more work.
