Works. Just be sure you know you regexes, and everything that needs to be escaped (like '+'), or the rule won't match.

Works great. For ease of use I set my keyboard shortcuts to Ctrl + Q and Ctrl + Shift + Q. Also, enabled in Incognito and in file URLs. EDIT: Somehow, not all open tabs are listed in its menu. Have to downgrade my rating, unfortunately.

I couldn't not get it to match on any filter expression. Tested my regex and it was valid. It just refused to change the content type. 🤷‍♂️

For experts only, minimal documentation. Would be more useful if it had a feature to snoop headers and inform you of a download's mime type.

Only extension available that was able to render a PDF in browser. All I had to do was change octet-stream to pdf (mime-type) and attachment to inline.

It works on my Mac with Brave browser with the "change your settings file hack"! Great work! Thank you so much!

Actually this feature is more useful than ctrl+Tab, which switches between tabs on the order of occurrence. I do not know why it is not provided in chrome. But that pop up which shows the list of tab could have a better design.

Doesn't work. Options greyed out.

There is an issue with this extension. At times it does not show all the open tabs when you press ctrl+q (or whatever is the shortcut). Then I have to manually restart the extension, after which it works for a while.

Ctrl+Tab shotcut can't be programed easily. Thanks to Roman T instruction we made it manually on "low level". Extension not as "install and play". Please, change something. For example programing not as pressing the keys, but inputing it as text.

Please provide instruction on how to use it. What rule to be added to open all png images in browser itself (for all websites i visit). Currently when i click on a png, its downloading the image..

Как сделать чтобы работало ----------------------------------------------------- 1) Установить расширение. 2) Перейдите на страницу расширений. Зайти туда можно из меню. Или так: в Chrome это адрес chrome://extensions/. В ЯндексБраузере browser://extensions/ 3) В самом низу страницы расширений есть ссылка "Быстрые клавиши". Нажмите ее и откроется окно "Быстрые клавиши для расширений". 4) Найдите пункт "Ctrl+Tab MRU" и назначьте в подпункте "Switch to older tab" любую горячую клавишу. Например, Ctrl+A. Для второго пункта "Switch to newer tab" назначьте, например, Ctrl+Shift+A. Сразу назначить удобные клавиши Ctr+Tab (следующая закладка по списку) и Ctr+Shift+Tab (предыдущая закладка по списку) не получится, так как при введении гор. клавиши браузер просто переключится на др. вкладку. 5) Запишите себе, на всякий случай, ID этого расширения: ialfjajikhdldpgcfglgndennidgkhik. 6) Закройте браузер и перейдите в его папку. не понимаю - зачем приложение назначило своё действие на сочетание ctr + Y ? При попытке переназначить по инструкции указанной почему то только на странице приложения в магазине - не срабатывает - хром переводит на другую страницу. Итог: Ставлю единицу.

I get that this mess is entirely the fault of the Chrome team, but most other attempts at this functionality have been pretty poor. This extension isn't perfect, but it's as close to perfect as Chrome will allow. It occasionally gets a little weird when you open or close a tab, but even TabMixPlus on Firefox has that problem occasionally. It's necessary to edit a Preference file to set Ctrl-Tab as the shortcut. It may or may not be necessary to set the file read-only; I did for a couple of restarts and then removed the read-only flag and it appears to be working. But make a backup of the Preferences file anyway, because editing it pretty painful, given that it is 60KB of JSON data on a single line.

I use this all the time. I configured it for ctrl-q and have programmed my brain to use ctrl-q instead of ctrl-tab. It works most of the time. The biggest issue I've found is if you're in a tab with popup windows in it and try switching tabs with the extension, it doesn't work. For instance, If your in gmail and have chat windows open, the mru menu will come up and stay up until you select another tab. If the developer could fix that, I would probably give it 5 stars.
