Im on my school laptop writing this but i dont care. I searched up tiktok and it blocked me from that, I once tried to cheat on an assignment/test and it blocked me before i could even read what it said! all of my searches are no where near nsfw. i searched up "hatch a bird roblox codes" and it blocked me from there too! this is just insane. Listen trellix. your going to ruin my life if you dont change your app extension its gonna be a big problem. how about you actually check your reviews and make it where if someone is really searching something up that is nsfw then you block it. But obvi they arent gonna look at their reviews and pay attention. this is garbage. if my teacher/admin didnt make a password for me to delete this i would have deleted this right after making this review but i cant. you have terrible ratings. chrome extensions should remove your app and never let you back on it again so f you and f this extension. this is so buns it doesnt let u do anything on ur school computer but if u wanna take it off click the windows button, go to ur control panel, click uninstall a program, then scroll down and delete the trellix stuff (u probably wont be able to delete the trellix agent or the trellix data loss prevention bc it says u need a release code) and youll have to recheck and do it a lot bc sometimes it automatically goes back on

I'm on my school account so i probably shouldn't be writing this but i don't care, the trellix extension is just trash, for me at the very least. it blocks almost every website i try to go onto, they're never nsfw, so i don't get it. I had to download duckduckgo to avoid this because i cannot delete or remove trellix from my school issued computer no matter what i do, also, i do not trust trellix. Genuinely. I feel it may be spyware that can benefit the company that made it or your orginization, such as my school organization in this case. If i could change this app or delete it off of my school computer i would. Sorry not sorry if any of this review I wrote came off as harsh.

i truly didn't want to have to write a review, but this is just garbage. it blocks everything when a website shows up, like, for example, reddit. plus, maybe you'd... idunno, need some of the sites it blocks to do your work??? youtube is even blocked, which is pretty much a MAIN app needed for informational videos. but apparently, trellix wants to get in the way of education while 'improving' it or whatever. absolute trash.

Sucks I put it in and now even when I search something up I don't even click anything but It take me to reddit and it said it blocked ex I looked something about hair and Genes when I clicked enter it loaded saying reddit was blocked I don't even click on it (reddit). and a math website that's not 18+ was blocked

A piece of garbage software. I can't access nearly anything. I used this to prevent any 18+ content and now I can't look up "How to find y = mx + b". I plead for you to fix the software's issues. If not I'll bring it down to one star.

Now, I wouldn't really care if it just blocked things. I'm on a school computer afterall. But it's blocking EVERY google search I do if it has a result that's "inappropriate". Even when I don't click the links. It's just incredibly annoying, if you aren't clicking on it you shouldn't get redirected like that. If you're thinking about getting this for your school, DON'T. Get another extension or something.

This sucks. I search up pretty much anything and would tell me that there is a threat because there is a Reddit page elsewhere, which i had no intention to click and is completely safe. I had to delete everything trelix-related except Trelix Agent and this extension. If this goes on, I would start using Firefox! I use Windows 10 and this got me up my nerves, so I uninstalled almost everything so that it wouldn't bother me as much, regarding if I had to throw this thing away just a few months later, which I will not because I'm always careful about what I click. It would block all games and pretty much every social app except Youtube, which is the one i use the most. I wish I could teach y'all how to delete it, but I cannot even do it.

hate this thing with a passion. but if you're on pc then you can uninstall it through the programs section of the control panel. ofc it may not be a permanent solution cause it can be reinstalled remotely (speaking from experince cause i use a school computer). but if that happens then just uninstall it again.

If you are having trouble using discord, etc. If you go to your settings, then go to apps, and search "trellix" or "web control" you can uninstall it and you will be able to use the apps you'd like. Just do not uninstall everything trellix related, just web control if using a school computer.
