Description

🪶 Tyquill is a Chrome extension that helps you quickly capture useful information from the web, generate newsletter drafts with AI, and export them directly into your editor.
You can save newsletters, blog posts, articles, and more in one place, and request AI to draft based on them.

[Key Features]

  • One-click web page scrapping from your current tab
  • Upload PDFs for AI-powered summarization and storage
  • Scrap social media posts (look for the feather icon on Threads, LinkedIn, X(Twitter), YouTube, Reddit)
  • Add and manage tags for better organization and search
  • Instantly reflect scrapped content into newsletter drafts
  • Import webpage section structures
  • Apply personalized writing styles
  • Draft editing with tiptap-based Markdown + WYSIWYG editor
  • Automated export to publishing platforms (Substack, Ghost, LinkedIn, Maily)

[How to Use]

  1. Enable the extension and log in with Google.
  2. Use the Scrap, Draft Generation, and Archive pages.

Scrap Page:

  • Click "Scrap Page" to save the current web page.
  • Add or remove tags for each scrap.
  • Filter scraps by tag for quick access.

Style Page:

  • Click "Create New Style" to add a custom writing style.
  • Name the style and provide AI with sample texts (similar to scrapping).
  • Saved styles can be directly applied when generating drafts.

Draft Page:

  • Enter a topic and key messages, then select scraps to generate a draft.
  • Add section structures manually or let AI generate them by analyzing the current page.
  • Draft generation takes 1–2 minutes. You’ll receive a notification when it’s ready.

Archive Page:

  • View all previously generated drafts.
  • Edit drafts, manage versions, or export them directly into newsletter editors with one click.

[Notes]

  • Scrapping is not supported on Chrome internal pages (e.g., chrome://).
  • Export features work only within newsletter editor pages.
