I use Microsoft Edge, but was able to install this to my browser anyways by turning on "allow extensions from other stores" in the extensions settings. I had previously been fighting the browser settings to get it to stop showing me newsfeed slop every time I started a new tab, but the feed would magically return next time I opened a new tab! This extension has finally stopped it, and for that I am grateful. Highly Recommend to anyone experiencing similar issues.

since switching to Chromium, i've been trying to find a way to block Google Doodle or whatever that header above the search bar is called.. Google likes to send "woke" messages which i find abhorrent. this is the only solution i've found. thank you.

Removing bc a blank page must have a blank tab icon.

The "New Tab" shouldn't have a favicon. The rest is great.
