It makes you have pop up ads on your computer. My laptop was fine i downloaded this extension and i started to get a new tab open for joycast .ai deleted the extension and no more ad.

pretty cool but i wish you could upload audio files instead of having to record the entire thing. That way we could insert songs which you can listen to while reading.

I've been using Mote since 2020, and when I changed schools, I asked my next department to cover my account because it's SO useful. Even if they hadn't though, it would have been worth the expense for me. As someone who spends a lot of time leaving students feedback, being able to record my thoughts as I think them has both saved me a ton of time and given me a way to add context through the tone of my voice. The same words can come across a lot more positively/gently/kindly verbally than in writing. I also appreciate that it works across Google file types and especially that it works in Google Classroom. I will always be a fan!

This extension is such a time saver and is easy to use! If you are a teacher with students that need a read aloud it is definitely worth the download to check it out!

Paid service . Free for the first 30 days . I'm not saying they shouldn't ask for payments , I respect the business . I just wish that they were straightforward about the payment aspect before I actually downloaded . Again , I have nothing against the developers and I wish them all the best . Time saver for creating audio versions of quizzes for students who need an audio/read-aloud accommodation.

Allows me to embed pronunciation of words directly into google docs. Easy to use, and incredibly helpful.

Makes writing feedback and conferring comments easy for developing writers (k-2).
