Just installed and it does exactly what I need: the ability to add notes into individual email threads. I haven't run into any popups, upsells, etc. yet. Edit: Once composing an email I discovered what the others mentioned - this app puts a bunch of options (templates, delayed send, etc) into your email composition windows. I found https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/simple-gmail-notes/jfjkcbkgjohminidbpendlodpfacgmlm which does exactly what most all of us are looking for.

Great for what I needed HOWEVER, a bunch of junk is all over my emails now about RightInbox. When I try to find out how to get rid of it, the directions are for RightInbox, and inaccurate for gmail notes. I may have to uninstall it, sadly. The "bloatware" review is correct.

Classic bloatware. I install an extension for Gmail notes, and along with it, I get the entire RightInbox extension get installed. They also insert an unsolicited '' sent with right inbox" signature that I can't get rid of. A Gmail Notes extension would be nice, but I am not that desperate. Uninstalling this.
