I love this extension so much, but Chrome has disabled it, saying "This extension is no longer available because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions." Does anyone know an alternative, or whether the developer might be interested in fixing whatever Chrome thinks is wrong with it?

Mostly works as intended with Brave. But oddly the "open in background" with "position far right end of all tabs" can be laggy and it switches to the new tab before reverting to the current ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

シンプルで私の欲しい機能がまとめて使えるので助かってます。右端にタブを開くのと新規タブをバックグラウンドで開くこと、日常的な作業でこれがあるのとないのとでは大違い。 長らく更新がなくManifest V3でサポートがなくなるかもと思っていましたが、開発者さんのブログでゆっくりながらもManifest V3対策を進めてくれているみたいと分かりました。 複数の拡張機能を開発しているみたいなので、この拡張機能がいつ頃になるかは分かりませんが期待して待っています。 しかし、クロームは使いにくくなるアプデがちょいちょいあって対応に困る時がある。

Does what it is supposed to do correctly. Simple functionalities with simple interface but clearly a must have. I don't understand why those settings are not by default into Chrome.

It does what it is supposed to do during a current session. But as soon as the browser restarts the tabs get set in reverse order except if you say had the active tab in the middle then only the tabs on the right of that active tab get reversed. It would be nice if it could be fixed because when it works it is great. Finally, after writing this review, I found a replacement in Tab Position Customizer - Modified. It does everything right with no issues this far.

Exactly what I need

Perfect. Simple to use and it works. And unlike two other similar extensions I tried earlier my virus scanner gives ii a pass.
