This is an open source Add-on for customizing default YouTube settings. It allows you to set your preferred video quality and playback speed..
FEATURES ✨ : VIDEO QUALITY : Set your preferred default video quality (144p to 4K) PLAYBACK SPEED : Choose your preferred default playback speed (from 0.1 to 16) SUBTITLES : Choose your preferred subtitle language. If unavailable, subtitles are automatically disabled (auto-generated ones are always ignored) AUDIO NORMALIZER : Balance sound volume with automatic or manual activation (via player button)
After installation, open the extension pop-up and set your settings, then refresh your YouTube page if you have one open.
