It does stop auto-play, but breaks many other things so can't recommend.

Still stops autoplaying for me but unfortunately I discovered today that it prevents timestamped videos from starting at their timestamp, instead rewinding to the start. 5-stars incoming when this bug gets fixed!
Another useless, non-working extension. Why does NOTHING work to stop autoplay? This is ridiculous, I can't wait to ditch Chrome and go back to a real browser that doesn't suck gigantic donkey balls

Meh, I guess. Works but the implementation is done in a way that you have to click the play twice, which is the other side of annoying.
