Extension Manager provides a centralized dashboard to manage all your installed browser extensions. It is designed to be lightweight, fast, and purely functional, allowing you to control your browser environment without navigating through complex internal settings.
Core Features:
Enable and Disable: Toggle any extension on or off instantly with a single click. Search: Real-time search to find extensions by name or description. Bulk Actions: Enable all extensions or disable all extensions at once. This is useful for troubleshooting or optimizing browser performance. Filtering: View extensions by status including All, Enabled, and Disabled. Uninstall: Remove unwanted extensions directly from the manager interface. System Protection: Automatically identifies extensions required by your organization or browser policy that cannot be disabled.
Keyboard Shortcuts:
Open Manager: Ctrl + Shift + E (Windows/Linux) or Command + Shift + E (Mac). Focus Search: Press / or Ctrl + F to instantly focus the search bar. Close: Press Esc to close the manager.
Privacy and Permissions:
Data Privacy: This extension does not track your browsing history, collect personal data, or communicate with external servers. It works entirely locally on your machine. Permissions: Requires the Management permission to list, enable, disable, and uninstall extensions. Requires Storage permission to save your UI preferences.
Performance: The extension is built using Manifest V3 and vanilla JavaScript. It has a minimal memory footprint and does not run in the background when not in use. Unlike the default internal manager, it provides a faster way to manage large numbers of extensions.
