beat is a new tab replacement for Chrome that shows the latest stories from your frequent news sources at a glance, plus a quick check of the weather.

Display stories from various news sources:

• Hacker News
  • View the top stories on Hacker News, with the ability to choose between different streams like the Top stories, or turn on the firehose with all new stories
• Designer News
  • View a stream of the front page of the Designer News community
• Subreddits
  • Keep track of any subreddit, with the ability to create a custom theme and choose from different streams like Top or Rising

Weather is displayed using OpenWeather, and can be configured for a specific city or automatically based on your location.
