Its a great extension, shows you an art image and you can click it to be taken to a page with more information about the art and artist. However, as others have noted there are only a handful of images in rotation so after a while you see the same images over and over. Looks like it was last update in March 2022 so I don't see that changing any time soon unfortunately.
Excellent. I've been using it for about 2 days now with heavy browser usage and many new tabs. So far, I haven't seen one repeat so their catalogue must be at least 30 images large. So far I've been introduced to some interesting, occasionally strange, art. I wish other museums had an extension like this one.
I would love this extension if it had more than 10 pictures in rotation. Since it's been that way for years I doubt it's going to get better any time soon.
Excellent stuff. the problem is that there is a limited amount of images, so they repeat quite often.
Absolutely love this idea
as i just told my best friend - this extension gives me sarah toning sometimes so cheers
Such a genius idea, I never use the search bar in the middle of the screen i just start typing and this just adds some nice art to your day. So good 5/5
It's super fun to open a new tab and see different pieces every time. I'd give it five stars if you made it possible to pull the images from the extension to Lively Wallpaper so I could have different wallpapers instantly when I'm using my computer :D
Sometimes I'll go off on a tangent and start exploring the artist shown, and sometimes I find myself opening a new tab just to see some interesting new artwork. Probably not the best extension if you are easily distracted, but I'm still giving it five stars!
This is just very fun and a good way to inject some creative thinking into one's mindset!
I wish it could show the standard new-tag page only with MoMA art as the background, so I could keep my bookmarks and stuff
