The current functionality is effective, but could you possibly incorporate an option to bypass the context menu selection? I prefer that when I open a video from the playlist, it simply opens the single video directly without the need for manual selection.

Massive thanks to both Navin and Klemens for this extension! I was regularly frustrated because YouTube displays the playlist selector above the comments playback when viewing past livestreams. Always removed the playlist bit from the URL manually which was a big hassle, until I found this extension. Thanks!

I can finally go on a playlist and not watch the playlist. Nice!
