I always write using voice typing like Speech Recognition Anywhere. Unfortunately, Word Editor doesn't support voice typing, so I have to type manually when using this extensions. This is a bit of a bummer, as I find voice typing a faster and more convenient way to write.

Maybe you can combine these two extensions the "Text Editor" and "Word Editor" in one so the content can be truly saved via the Text Editor mechanism. I would give it 5 stars if it would save the file and overwrite it like the "Text Editor" (made by same people and available on same site) instead o going on download route every time you save the file. If it's possible with the Text Editor logically should be possible with "Word Editor" by using file system access API or other means. It says in the description that it will download the file instead of overwrite the original file so to be fair this is not a surprise . This might be good if you like file versions but not as a true editor that can save any modification to the file in same document with same original name. As an experiment I used both the Text Editor and Word Editor to do what I wanted by creating the content in Word Editor then instead of saving (download) I copied the source code in the Text Editor and actually saved (not downloaded) that content...but this is cumbersome. What I am curious is why it's possible to truly save the file content as html with Text Editor but not with the Word Editor"? It might be an impossibility because the browser doesn't allow access the disk but then why is possible for the Text Editor extension to truly save by overwriting the file? What is the difference between the two, both are browser extensions but the Text Editor have access to disk while Word Editor doesn't? Can somebody explain this? Word Editor is usable if you want many files in your download folder with weird names where you don't really know which version contain what or if you don't usually save your content/page until is totally completed. Too bad that the functionality I was talking about cannot be added but thank you anyway for your effort. If what I explained can be added to the Word Editor I will increase my rating to maximum stars.

Der ansonsten gute Eindruck trübt die fehlende Funktion den Text im Hauptfenster scrollen zu können. Im Quelltext-Fenster funktioniert es.
