More Better Ctrl-W

This extension lets you assign custom keybindings to close tabs and to delete the word before the cursor.

This is useful if you're accustomed to using <Ctrl-W> on the command line or in your text editor to delete back word, and you want similar functionality in your browser.

After installing this extension, click Keyboard shortcuts to assign custom bindings:

• You can assign a custom keybinding to close tabs, e.g., <Alt-W>.

• You can assign a custom keybinding to delete the word before the cursor, e.g., <Ctrl-W>.

• You can also assign any keybinding to do nothing, e.g., if you'd like to disable <Ctrl-W> instead.

Note that delete back word doesn't work from the address bar — it'll delete the previous word from whatever input has focus on the page, if an edit control has focus. Sorry! That's just a limitation of using an extension.
