From what is visible, it feels more like a general note‑taking app that happens to live in a Chrome tab, rather than something tied to the specific page or tab you are viewing. Adding a star because I could see that being useful to someone, but it's definitely not clear in your instructions. Opening it just takes you to the developer’s notes page instead of letting you annotate the current site, which somewhat defeats the purpose of it being a “tab” extension. If the developer is reading this, is that the intended design? The hope was to have notes attached to specific web pages that are open, but right now it seems to function only as a standalone note app running inside Chrome, not something connected to the actual sites in your tabs.

i love it but can you add and option to export notes to .txt file on my desktop?

Please add the ability to add links to the notes we take. I think it will be very useful.

It was my essential tool to use this tool in daily life until it wiped out all my data automatically. They should have cloud storage to back up the data. I got too disheartened; it was my important data on the table notes.

Definitely one of the better tab notes extensions out there. Allows for multiple notes and ample styling options. I kind of miss the option to write Markdown and have it styled automatically (Such as using '#' for headings, **bold text**, etc.) and an option for checkboxes, but otherwise great extension!

With TabNotes, you will lose the proper new tab. At the very least, the homepage icon, on the browser, should open a proper new tab. but, the homepage icon, on the browser, still opens TabNotes. Can you change it so that the homepage icon opens a proper new tab?
