Detoxify is a Chrome and Firefox extension that empowers you to hide or unhide YouTube Shorts directly from your home feed. It’s perfect for those who prefer a cleaner, more curated viewing experience on YouTube.

How It Works: Detoxify operates by modifying elements on your YouTube page without collecting or storing any personal data. When activated, the extension identifies Shorts within the home feed and hides them, providing a distraction-free feed. Future updates will expand this feature to cover Shorts across search results and other areas of YouTube, giving you even more control.

Privacy & Security: Your privacy is a top priority. Detoxify operates entirely within your browser and does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. All modifications occur locally, ensuring that your browsing activity remains private and secure. The Chrome version of the extension uses Manifest V3 for enhanced security, while the Firefox version currently operates on Manifest V2, adhering to the latest available standards for each platform.
