Description

OpenClaw Browser Relay enables seamless integration between your Chrome browser and the OpenClaw automation framework. By connecting to a local CDP relay server, this extension allows you to easily attach and control your existing browser tabs for automation tasks, making development and testing workflows more efficient.

[Features] OpenClaw Browser Relay allows attaching OpenClaw to your existing Chrome tab via a local CDP relay server.

Key Features:

  1. Local Relay Connection: Connects to a locally running OpenClaw relay server via WebSocket.
  2. Tab Attachment: Click the extension icon to attach the current tab to OpenClaw, enabling control by automation scripts.
  3. Status Indication: Real-time connection status is displayed via the icon badge (connecting, connected, error, etc.).
  4. Port Configuration: Supports custom local relay server ports (default is 18792).

[Usage]

  1. Start the OpenClaw Gateway or local relay service (default port 18792).
  2. Install this extension in Chrome.
  3. Open the tab you want to automate.
  4. Click the OpenClaw extension icon in the toolbar.
    • Badge "ON" (Orange) indicates a successful connection.
    • Badge "!" indicates an error (check if your local service is running).
  5. In the extension options page (Right-click extension icon -> Options), you can change the port number if needed.
