PROUD TO HAVE SERVED IN THE US NAVY 1971-76 AS PART OF A CARRIER BATTLE GROUP. WEST PAC VIETNAM 7TH FLEET. THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE! WISH I COULD BACK AND REUP!!!!!! WHAT A WONDERFUL LIFE N THE SERVICE OF OUR GREAT NATION THE USA!! GOD BLESS OUR NAVY AND ALL WHO SERVE !

Served on USS Independence CV-62 GO NAVY

I served on an aircraft carrier, the USS Ranger CV-61 to be exact. Worked on the Flight Deck moving aircraft while surfing the waves on the carrier. Very few can say the same. Others wished to have my job when I was just 19, an Aviation Aircraft handler, also known as Aviation Boatswain Mate Handler, Lords of the Flight Deck of the Seas!!!
