By far this is the BEST plugin for saving and managing tabs especially if you have multiple browser windows open. The interface is super intuitive and easy to navigate! This plugin is light years ahead of all the other plugins I have tried so far! All the other plugins that claim to manage tabs are all missing some feature or the UI is terrible or the software is unreliable. This plugin is exactly what I was looking for. I can quickly and painlessly save all the tabs from the browser window I am working on by clicking on the plugins icon in the toolbar or I can open the plugin and see all my windows and all my tabs neatly arranged for me and ready to be organized. Why isn't functionality like this included with all browsers to begin with??! To the author of this plugin, I like the way you think.
Tabmanager.io has two invaluable features that I have not seen in other tab managers, which is why I have been using it for over four years. First, Control-M opens a tab that displays all of your open tabs, by window. Second, you can use this display to rearrange your tabs, and quickly close ones that are no longer needed. So helpful!!!
awesome addon, really helps me keep track of my work between computers.
The best app I was waiting for since long ! Suggestion: Please make that Windows window name is automatically set when you name a group in the app ! :D additionally when reopening a group, rename
This really deserves more than the four stars that it currently has. This tab manager is full of features but keeps things simple and uncomplicated. I tend to keep 250-750 tabs open and this tab manager is immensely helpful when it comes time to selectively blow away hundreds at a time. The search function is great for finding any tabs with a particular domain and then closing them with one click. Individual tabs can be closed with a single click or dragged to other windows or to new windows. The ability to export to CSV or JSON is just great. Sometimes its just time to close out everything and I love that I can export out the 700+ tabs or whatever and then close all of them knowing that if I end up needing something I can just get it from the export file. Saved windows and sessions work great but I tend to have a more garbage collection type workflow, opening up more and more tabs and closing very few of them. When I find my tab heap is too large I go and collect/close all of the garbage. This tab manager is the perfect tool for doing this. The only thing that would make it better would be if it were open source.
Ctrl-M is all you need to find your tabs!
There was a Session Manager extension available for the last decade. It was just perfect. It has been discontinued by Chrome. Tabmanager is not that intuitive and simple in use. It requires much more clicking. Sessions are saved but it is impossible to name the session during saving. You need to go to some fancy mode to rename already saved session - it is pointless and overengineered. Make it simpler. Make it able to read sessions saved by Session manager extension. People will immediately start to use this new Tabmanager.
Es el que mas se parece a Cluster Windows and Tab Manager, ese que tenia como pagina principal a www.clusterwm.com Todos los demas gestores de pestañas simplemente son poco funcionales.
Great extension, but it's weird that it allows to name windows but at the same time it ignores the native feature (Menu > Window > Name Window...) Ideally the extension should recognise named windows and when naming windows through this extension, make it through the native functionality provided by Chrome, as the name window feature of this extension only works inside itself.
Cons: "expand / close" Tab groups - in tab manager UI is not work for most tab groups in the tab manager ui. (Edge Linux
Slow, clunky, convoluted. Basic core functions are behind multiple clicks, useless confirmations, slow modification of sessions, bad grouping logics and static view, insufficient settings, very very bad search. The functional framework is there, this is a few changes from being a 5 star extension. As it is now it does not save time but wastes it more than default session management.
Saving session with tab groups is awesome. I hope could set auto save interval.
