Great App when it's working. It will work normally for a bunch of days or weeks, then out of the blue it will stop working for days or weeks. Very irregular. Nowhere to find out about official updates or current states.
The extension has also stopped working for me. The folders I setup have all disappeared. Could the developer please indicate what the problem is and whether it will be fixed? Update: June 6, 2024. I've added back a couple of stars because the app has been working okay for the last several days. When it's working, the app adds some real functionality to ChatGPT. The ability to create, rename, move folders and sub folders and otherwise manipulate chats beyond the basic chat list provided by ChatGPT is a real help.
suddenly stopped working :(
It's not working as of today. It was working before
good
Updates from this extension to new downloadable extensions make us lose ALL OUR FILES every time. I advise against: you will take months to create your files and file everything and one day you will have nothing. This is the second time in a few months and the last time.
Overall it seems to be working fine so far. I think it needs to follow the styling preferences of the user, I have set it to "System", meaning that it has light theme in the day and dark in night. So far the extension only works as dark theme which does not look good when light theme is up.
I recently embarked on a journey with the "ChatGPT Anywhere" Chrome extension, enticed by its promising features such as the ability to create folders within ChatGPT, the option to chat with versions 3.5 and 4 of ChatGPT on any webpage, and the inclusion of custom prompt library and engineering tools. The potential to streamline and enhance my ChatGPT interactions was irresistible, leading me to dive into its free trial with great enthusiasm. After dedicating a substantial 10-12 hours of continuous exploration, the extension lived up to my expectations, offering a seamless and engaging experience that kept me hooked. Its functionality seemed to be the solution I had long sought, making me consider the $150 one-time payment for full access. However, my initial excitement was short-lived. Upon revisiting my Chrome browser the following day, I discovered that all the folders and files I had meticulously organized within my ChatGPT history had vanished, and the extension ceased to function entirely. This setback not only resulted in a significant loss of time and effort but also left me feeling grateful for not hastily purchasing the full version. This experience has been both disappointing and frustrating, further exacerbated by the lack of communication channels on the company's website to address my concerns. While the extension shows immense potential, its reliability and customer support are areas that require immediate attention. In conclusion, while "ChatGPT Anywhere" offers innovative features that could revolutionize how we interact with ChatGPT, my experience underscores the importance of ensuring stability and support before committing to a purchase. I hope this review assists others in making informed decisions and encourages the developers to enhance their offering for a more dependable user experience.
Despite some of the bad reviews and the low number of users, I decided to give this a try mainly for the folder feature. I was very disappointed. The sidebar is completely changed and is filled with a bunch of features that either don't work or are not free. Reading some of the other reviews, I have a feeling that the paid features probably don't work well either. Unfortunately, I have to remove this. It does not do what it promised to do.
Way too buggy! Keep refreshing ChatGPT every time I click on an existing or new chat. Constantly showing ads. Lost my folders twice!! after organizing 100s of chats. The free version is very limited. I don't have any problem paying for a good product, but if the free version with very few features is so buggy, I can't image how buggy the paid version is gonna be. I don't recommend it. There must be a better option!
Just lost all folders when I cleared the browser cache... hilarious, and of course the 'restore' feature is for paid users. Great for the most part.. but yep
Parecía una buena solución para organizar los chats en ChatGPT, pero (además de que le falta pulirse un poco) al borrar cookies se han perdido las carpetas que había creado (no las conversaciones).
