Looking for something to block autoplay on FoxNews. This does block it, but YouTube stopped working.

I don't like it. The other one let me designate individual websites. This one does everything or nothing.

Exactly What I Needed – No More Auto-Playing Videos! This extension does exactly what it says — it stops those annoying HTML5 videos and audios from autoplaying. I was getting fed up with websites blaring sound or playing videos the moment I opened them, and this completely fixed that issue. Super easy to use — just install it and you're good to go. It works in the background without slowing anything down, and there are no confusing settings to mess with. I also like that it doesn't collect any personal data, which is a nice bonus. If you're tired of autoplay videos ruining your browsing experience, definitely give this a try. Simple, lightweight, and it works.
This is now hijacking address bar search and redirecting from Google to several sites and then Yahoo.
I've been using Disable HTML5 Autoplay for a few weeks now, and it's been a game-changer. No more unexpected videos blaring in the background while I'm trying to read an article or work in a quiet environment. The extension effectively stops videos from autoplaying, giving me control over what plays and when. One feature I particularly appreciate is the customizable whitelist. It allows me to enable autoplay on sites where I want it, like YouTube, while keeping it disabled elsewhere. This flexibility ensures that my browsing experience is tailored to my preferences. However, I've noticed that on some websites, the extension can be a bit too aggressive, occasionally preventing videos from playing even when I click on them. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning. Overall, Disable HTML5 Autoplay has significantly improved my browsing experience by eliminating unwanted distractions. If you're tired of surprise videos interrupting your online activities, I highly recommend giving this extension a try.
for unknown reason redirects google to yahoo
