Unable to work, I switched to tinamind.

J'utilise beaucoup l'app et le site de Perplexity, mais cette extension me laisse... perplexe ! Elle est incapable de se "connecter" au contexte (page ouverte), si je lui demande "résumer cette page" en spécifiant bien le contexte "cette page", il m'expliquer en quoi consiste l'action de résumer une page. Au final, ne sert à rien d'autre que d'utiliser Perplexity en miniature au lieu de son environnement normal.

This extension used to be great. It's become functionally useless.

When you click Summarize, instead of summarizing the page, it tells you the definition of the word "summarize". This is moronic.

I used to rely on Perplexity daily. Recent changes to models and behavior make it unusable for my workflow, and none of this was clearly communicated. Very sad to leave a 1‑star review.

Eine dümmliche Erweiterung, die einem plötzlich mehr Arbeit bereitet. Man schaue sich Summarizing (This page) an, die Erweiterung liefert wiederholt eine Definition von "Summarizing", hat das niemand getestet? Man wechselt den Tab und alles, was man vorher eingegeben hat und wonach gesucht wird, ist weg. Ich bin ein großer Fan von Perplexity, nutze gerne Spaces und Connectors, aber diese Erweiterung ist wirklich unsinnig in meinem Anwendungsfall.

На ютюбе часто использую кнопку саммари, чтобы не смотреть часовое видео, а бысрро прочитать о чём там. Но было бы гораздо удобнее получать не просто самммари, а краткий пересказ с таймингом. I often use the summary button on YouTube so I don’t have to watch an hour-long video and can quickly read what it’s about. But it would be much more convenient to get not just a summary, but a short recap with timestamps.

Does not summerize pages, just defines the word summerize. It used to do this well, so I am not sure what changed.

Please, Please, Please, make a side-panel extension that will stay open when you navigate around and use the current page as the primary source when making queries, will retain the current thread until you start a new one, and allow you to add a thread to a space, do deep research and all the other things that make perplexity shine. Just the persistence across tabs will make it a game-changer, where it is currently a frustrating, awkward experience that seems more like an afterthought than a focused solution. I am a paying customer that have been with you guys since the start. If there is one thing I have always thought you have completely neglected, it is this extension.
