Installation

Chrome Web Store

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store
2. Search for "DHgate Image Downloader" or use the direct link provided
3. Click "Add to Chrome"
4. Confirm the installation when prompted

Manual Installation (For Developers)

1. Download the extension files or clone the repository
2. Build the project using npm run build
3. Open Chrome/Edge and navigate to the extensions management page:
   • Chrome: chrome://extensions/
   • Edge: edge://extensions/
4. Enable "Developer mode"
5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the dist folder from the project directory

How to Use

1. Navigate to a DHgate Product Page: The extension only works on DHgate.com product detail pages (URLs starting with https://www.dhgate.com/product/)

2. Click the Extension Icon: Click on the DHgate Image Downloader icon in your browser's toolbar

3. View Available Images: The extension will display all available high-definition images from the product page

4. Select Images:

   • Use the checkboxes to select individual images
   • Use the "Select all" checkbox to choose all images at once

5. Download Images: Click the "Download" button to save your selected images

6. Access Downloaded Files: Images will be saved to your default downloads folder

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. "Please use this extension on DHgate product page"

   • The extension only works on DHgate.com websites
   • Navigate to a DHgate product page and try again

2. "Please use this extension on DHgate product detail page"

   • The extension is designed to work specifically on product detail pages
   • Make sure the URL starts with https://www.dhgate.com/product/

3. "No product images found"

   • The extension couldn't detect any product images on the page
   • Refresh the page and try again
   • If the issue persists, the product page may have a non-standard layout

DHgate Image Downloader requires the following permissions:

• activeTab: To access the current tab's content
• scripting: To run scripts that extract image information
• downloads: To save images to your device
• host permissions for dhgate.com: To interact with DHgate product pages

The extension does not collect or transmit any personal data. It only processes product images from the current DHgate product page you're viewing.
