This Chrome extenstion "Auto Quality for YouTube" has a popup that redirects to a page url website: www.megaxt.com and my Malwarebyte browser guard detects it as a trojan. Please beware!
Every time I open chrome it forces open a new tab saying thanks for installing our extension, and I've had it for over a year. Like, stop? uninstalled
After a while 4K resets to 1080p again. It might be because I also use a laptop with the same Google account where I've set the extension to 1080p but I didn't really test that theory.
Settings keeps resetting, making this extension worthless.
O fato do vídeo sempre iniciar numa qualidade padrão e pausar automaticamente, aumenta muito o carregamento da página. Isso por si só já é excelente pro meu PC fraco. Muito bom! The fact that the video always starts in standard quality and pauses automatically significantly speeds up page load times. This alone is excellent for my weak PC. Very good!
good hd
thanks to the developers!!!
Worked flawlessly, but this year it defaults to 1080p every time the browser is updated. Have to manually change to 4K every time.
This extension does its job but has a weird issue. Every few days, it resets the default video quality back to 1080p. I have to go into settings to change it back to 1440p whenever this happens. That doesn't take long, but I shouldn't have to do that and it's kind of irritating. Another thing I am not a fan of is how the extension makes you unable to change the quality of a YouTube video. If you try to change it, it will automatically put it back to the quality it is set to. So, if I watch YouTube in a place with slower internet, I have to disable the extension.
While seemingly working at a first glance , I noticed the extension defaulting to 1080p without the user input.
Malwarebytes detected it and says the website is a backdoor trojan. (do not get this extension!)
Does not work. Every time I go full screen, YouTube bumps resolution up to 4K, no matter what I do. I thought this would fix it, but it does NOTHING.
