I randomly get the PDF article titled "Trace-based Just-in-Time Type Specialization for Dynamic Languages" while attempting to open PDF documents from my system. It's like this particular PDF document is hard baked into the extension for some reason (calibration? ).

I am not aware of another pdf viewer Chrome extension with a working back/forward keyboard shortcut (<alt-left> & <alt-right>), for efficient navigation. A life saver, bravo!
