Night Mode Tactical

Night Mode Tactical is a lightweight Chrome extension that applies a dark, night-mode style overlay to the currently active browser tab to improve on-screen comfort in low-light environments.

The extension allows users to manually enable or remove night mode with a single click. Optional settings can dim images and slightly enhance contrast to make content easier to view at night. The visual effect is applied only to the active tab when the user clicks the button and does not run automatically in the background.

All processing happens locally in the browser. The extension does not track browsing activity, does not collect or transmit any data, and does not connect to external services. It uses minimal permissions only to apply and remove visual styles on the current tab.
