I think that the description does not make it clear enough that this is a companion for the Mariner Browser (the actual google project). From what is online: - Mariner is only available in the US - Mariner is only available to people who subscribed to Google AI Ultra - Mariner is a standalone agentic browser So from what I understand -> Mariner Companion plugs into your regular Chrome and watches what you do, in order to make it run on the Mariner browser later on as automated tasks. CONCLUSION: Anyone who cannot download the Mariner browser and does not fill the previously stated conditions cannot use the Mariner Companion extension

after installing it on chorome it will not work properly when i click on it, it will not open

Nothing happens when I open the extension

I understand that is an experimental extension/service, but this is an extremely awful experience. The extension crashes immediately after pressing to teach the task. the dashboard website works on a virtual machine that's the slowest thing I've ever seen. it fails clicking a link on Google's own search engine, tried a new task with the website URL instead and it can't even type the website URL, it just fails doing basic stuff. This feature is behind the most expensive subscription, so people can't try it and see for themselves that it doesn't work. Google should be ashamed of themselves for even mentioning this product as the most complex AI agent when it can't even do first most basic thing.

i just added it to chrome , it doesn't respond on clicking on the extension icon . no instructions on how to use . looks like i did the first comment .

Excited about the potential of Project Mariner Companion! However, it would be great to have a trial version to truly evaluate its capabilities before committing to a purchase. A hands-on experience would help us understand its value and ensure it meets our needs.

I have added the extension and now start exploring it. Hope this will help me save a lot of time in my day to day tasks. Project mariner could be a game changer for the same type of jobs we do on our day to day tasks especially the repeated tasks/jobs.
