This smells like Honey, which we all know was evil. Does this extension overwrite/reattribute the commissions paid out by affiliate links to other parties, eg. content creators?
some random extension added the "give-freely-root" tag to pages, kinda sketchy
I installed the GiveFreely browser extension over a year ago, and I love it! It works invisibly in the background, generating money for my favorite charity whenever I make a purchase. Thanks for making it so easy!
very good
Give Freely makes doing good effortless! Just download the app, pick from over 1 million charities, and shop online at 10k+ stores. Give Freely finds discounts for you and donates to your chosen cause—doing good has never been easier!
Love this extension. I just saved $20 on a photo book at shutterfly, and had a donation made to my local animal shelter. Easy to install, and I don't have to think about it. Whenever I buy something online, a donation gets made in my name, with the store paying. Lots of stores too... shutterfly, staples.com, ticketmaster, bestbuy, as examples. I've told several friends because it is a 'why not' . 100% thumbs up. (and I don't get spammed by them either!)
I've been a user for just over a month, and have already generated more than $50 in donations - for free. I already buy a bunch of stuff online, so now with Givefreely, I'm paying the same price, but my favorite charity (Scituate Animal Shelter) gets a donation. I've already told a bunch of people about it.
Absolutely love this extension. With all the ugly politics of an election season, it's great to see things like Give Freely. A friend mentioned it to me last month, and I installed it on my iPhone and laptop. It's already saved me $20 on a bookcase I was buying, but what I like the best is that when I shop on lots of different stores, it just pops up to let me know that the store is donating to *my* favorite charity when I buy. That's pretty cool. I don't have to remember anything, and I'm not part of the "give freely community" that is generating donations. They even send me a nice email after each purchase letting me know that the donation has been made. 100% recommend it!
They keep sending an email they haven't heard from the charity I selected. I checked with the charity and they have received no correspondence from Give Freely. Is this a scam? Yes I have already made a purchase and they will send the donation to them. Oh yeah the coupon did work.
My new favorite extension. Stores donate when I shop online. Like AmazonSmile but on tons of stores. Hey Give Freely: I buy a lot on etsy... can you add them as a store?
I LOVE IT
