📋 How to Use:
- Click the ClipAIble icon in your browser toolbar
- Open any article, YouTube video, or PDF
- Select the format you want (PDF, EPUB, FB2, Markdown, or Audio)
- Click save
Alternative ways to save:
- Right-click on any webpage and use the context menu options
For local PDF files: In AI modes, you'll be prompted to select the PDF file due to browser restrictions.
🔑 API Keys:
For AI-powered features, you can use any of the supported AI providers. API keys are optional for basic functionality. Visit our GitHub page for the full list of compatible services and setup instructions.
All API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored locally. We never send your keys to our servers.
🔒 Privacy & Security:
- All processing happens locally or via your API keys
- No data is sent to our servers (we don't have any)
- API keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage
- Encryption key derived using PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations)
- Statistics and cache stored locally only
