Tab Triage: One-Click Tab Cleanup is for people who live with too many tabs open but are scared to close them. It gives you a safe “panic button” for tab overload: one click saves a snapshot of all non-pinned tabs in your current window, then closes them so your browser and brain can breathe.
When you hit “Triage these tabs,” the extension collects every normal web tab in that window (ignoring pinned tabs and system pages), stores their titles and URLs as a snapshot in Chrome storage, and then closes those tabs. In the popup you see a simple list of saved snapshots with the time, how many tabs were saved, and a quick preview of the main domains. Whenever you want those tabs back, click “Restore tabs” on any snapshot and Tab Triage reopens each saved URL in new tabs.
Tab Triage is designed to be fast and low-friction: no account, no signup, no background tracking. It only runs when you click the button, it only looks at tabs in your current window, and all snapshot data stays on your device in Chrome’s local storage. If the extension helps you clear your head or reset your workspace, there is an optional tip button that links to the creator’s Cash App so it can stay free for everyone.
