How do we recover our bookmarks?? I'm on mac and the solution mentioned below is not working.

Solución para volver a funcionar: crear, con Regedit, la clave HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome (si no existe, créala en el panel izquierdo). Con la clave Chrome seleccionada, crea un valor DWORD (32 bits) en el panel derecho y asigna un valor 2. Reinicia Chrome.

I need to get my bookmarks, but since its no longer supported, I'm unable to access the extension manager, need ideas to get them back. Thanks.

This and uBlockOrigin not working, enough is enough. I was considering it for a while but, thank you Google, for giving me the final push to change to Opera GX. Good riddance. P.S. this extension works in Opera, but I haven't found a way to import my secure bookmarks from Chrome into Opera, so I'm considering just remaking it from scratch. Or using the method Luke W mentioned.

First disable automatic Chrome updates by searching in windows start menu for: System Configuration Select Services Tab Disable Google Update Service (gupdate), Google Update Service (gupdatem). Deny when prompted in the future. Uninstall Google Chrome. DO NOT DELETE SETTINGS AND HISTORY!!!!! Restart windows Go to https://www.slimjet.com/chrome/google-chrome-old-version.php select latest x64 version (104.xxx) Install downloaded version secure bookmarks will already be there, move your bookmarks out of secure back into normal bookmarks using the cogwheel in secure bookmarks. then click the chrome update button to get back to normal chrome again. screw google, and screw this developer for leaving everyone in the lurch.

Chrome UPDATE !?!?!??# broke the extension AGAIN ! this is the best secure bookmarks extension out there but it keep breaking because of chrome update

You would think you guys would notify us that you were being reviewed by Google so that we could export our bookmarks before they remove you. To both you and Google you guys are completely and utterly pathetic.

Can you make the folks over at Google Chrome happy by updating your Privacy Policy? This extension was by far the best of all the password protecting bookmarks extensions, but since the Privacy Policy is completely absent, Chrome has blacklisted this extension. Do us all a favor and create a Privacy Policy that is in line with laws around the world. Its 2025 !
