Used it for japanese for a long time and found out other languages are supported. The extension is awesome!

Immersion is the best way to learn a language and this tool is the key to start diving straight in. Now you will still need a split between studying and actual practice mind you, yet that exposure is key to solidly grasp the language. Could not recommend Yomitan more.

Just down right amazing! Very worth getting if you want to learn any language! (although it isn't a stand alone app, you would need to get Anki first before it can be any use)

Recently I keep getting a message that this "extension has been corrupted", and it can't be used. Not sure what's going on, but my other extensions are all fine, just this one. Great extension otherwise, but I think it might need some more support for this issue.

La mejor alternativa a Yomichan, de hecho Yomitan sería la sucesora espiritual de Yomichan, ya que la interfaz es la misma, pero mucho mejor y actualizada. A parte de esto, recomiendo la extensión para quienes están estudiando un idioma (en mi caso el japonés) y desean tener un diccionario "a la mano", creo que lo más destacable es su uso en páginas web, ya que puedes consultar fácilmente el significado de la mayoria de palabras y/o expresiones del japonés, además de ver información especifica de un Kanji (por ejemplo, el orden de los trazos, diferentes lecturas del kanji). Creo que también tienes la opción de importar diccionarios del Coreano o el Chino, así que también sería una buena herramienta para esos idiomas. Recomiendo visitar la wiki de la extensión ya que hay información sobre como usarlo y que funcionalidades tiene.
