It shows “disconnected” all the time. There are no logs from which to read whether the cause is a blocked port, endpoint url or anything else.
It works, but it uses some trickery to inject its script in pages, and for that purpose it rewrites CSP headers in tabs to allow itself. Sadly, as of 2024 it also breaks YouTube embeds on different sites.
Bring back old notified this one is a disaster. https://catlight.io/ still does a thing. I am not associated with catligt. I it annoying that having commercial JetBrains team-city I am forced to buy cat-light, as this chome plugin is dumb thing. At least bring old notifier, please.
It doesn't work. No notifications are shown. I'll continue using TeamCity Tray Notifier.
Extension itself is fine. The web page to configure TeamCity notifications could use an overhaul. I'd like to set up one set of rules and then have checkboxes for each platform receiving notifications (email, browser, Slack, etc.). This avoids having to set up rules for each platform separately, which can be quite tedious. Icing on the cake would be to have an enable checkbox for each rule so I can quickly turn the rule off and on for the previously selected platforms.
Does not work on self-hosted TeamCity servers
For me, it doesn't work at all. I installed the extension, it detects my TC instance when I'm on its page, but there are no notifications shown at all. I configured notifications for Broswer Notifier in my TeamCity Settings but it still doesn't work. It worked fine with Windows Tray Notifier...
It does exact what it should. Yabai Desu Ne!
