Seems to work in most cases, but unfortunately doesn't work on Reddit
This is the most useful extension ever as of February 2025, Google Chrome on Windows Desktop. Use Disable All, because some animations take minutes to watch! QUESTION. How can I see other extensions from this developer?

Really nice, especially regarding folks who tend to post animated GIFs to Google Chat. This allows you to see the animation once, but not over and over and over again!

Rule #1: Don't have 5000 moving images when the content of your page is meant to be read! Total fail.
Works for animated gifs. Would be nice if I could set per site.

Doesn't work anywhere you actually need it, only works for basic sites, won't block animations on reddit or imgur
