THIS IS NOT FROM ANTHROPICS! IMO it's a scam, as they are quick to sell you a less expensive plan that seems to use Claude models. They have cloned most of the look & feel of Anthropics, including their logo. They are also profiting from the fact that Anthropics did a very poor job of explaning how Claude Chrome actually works, and it DOES NOT work from the Chrome web store - right now (2025.12) it needs to be installed from Claude. I have no idea how far this charade goes but I'll be sending mails to Google Support and Anthropics. Hope they can do something about this. In the meanwhile, I would NOT consider this safe and I do NOT recommend installing this!!
