Superb extension. Deleted years of posts and comments by letting it run for a day. Did it all for free compared to competitors that charge nearly 10 USD or more for this simple service (unjustifiable in an era where the cost of software is trending to nil). Kudos to the developer.
really easy to use and efficient , thank you to the developer , i hope you have a great year ahead .
An excellent service. It works, and unlike *another* service that shall not be named, you can delete more than 50 per day. You can pick and chose which subreddits get removed as well, which is super convenient. Absolutely goated. 10/10, would delete again.
Pros: -Actually performs as advertised; I just had 8 years worth of comments and posts deleted. Almost 2000 of the former, which is awesome. -Efficient! Overall I'd say it took me 10-15 minutes? (Depending on your patience that might be a lot, but more on that momentarily.) -Barebones but in a good way. I don't need a fancy interface or anything melodramatic stating "I've done it, they're gone!" Just counting down the comments and posts until they each hit zero, which was really satisfying. Cons: -For some reason it just...stopped counting comments from eight years ago backwards. It shows zero comments on the counter, but there are (I estimate) a couple hundred left. Really annoying since the entire point was to get it all done in one fell swoop. I tried narrowing down the dates so it could focus on those specifically and that didn't do anything. -The extension would delete around 50-100 comments and then hit a wall. It said it would refresh reddit and try again in 60 seconds, and that worked once. After that it didn't make a difference. I had to delete the extension, log into an alt account, reinstall, activate, switch over to the main account, and then continue. (And trust me, I did such a lengthy process because I tried all the simpler versions like uninstalling and reinstalling, just switching accounts and switching back, etc.) I really want to love this more than I do, because it's the best free tool I've found that's user-friendly as well. But for now I'll have to leave it at three stars.
Works as described and no paywall to delete everything. Thank you!
Says I have 0 comments while I'm staring at thousands of comments on my profile page on the logged in account where it claims I have 0.
It's mainly brilliant - quick, easy, no faffing. However, after deleting everything, tons of my comments are still there on my Reddit Overview tab. They don't appear under the comments tab any more. Is there any way of extending it to the overview tab as well? Kudos, though, for a user friendly method.
It works, just a little bit slow. Thankfully only had around 150 comments to remove. A couple times had it stop saying Reddit wasn't responding but reopening the extension usually fixed it.
Is this using old.reddit.com to delete? Only reason I ask is because it'll start up deleting, pause for 60 seconds (which I understand why), then resume and just stop only a couple seconds later and then BAM, old.reddit.com no longer works. The plugin stops and just crashes or something.
Just works in seconds.
The other ones don't actually allow you to delete all comments at once, but this one does. And this function works for real (unlike on some of the others). It's great!
Simple yet very useful extension I will use it everyday :)
