AI Polyglot - Translator for WhatsApp Web

We aim to be the best translation tool for chats on WhatsApp Web. AI Polyglot helps make your life easier when communicating in foreign languages. No more copy-pasting between translator apps.

AI Polyglot supports 2 translation Modes:

• Cloud AI (Recommended) - Uses Athropic's Claude AI for translation.
• Local AI: (Free) - Uses in-browser WebGPU technology:
  • WebMLC - https://github.com/mlc-ai/web-llm
  • Llama 3.2 - https://huggingface.co/meta-llama/Llama-3.2-3B-Instruct
    • The initial Local AI load will download the AI model.

• Create an account: https://ai-polyglot.com
• Go to WhatsApp Web: https://web.whatsapp.com
• Open the "AI Polyglot" side-panel by clicking on the extension icon.
• Setup Screen:
  • Preferred language, e.g. English
  • Translation Mode (Cloud or Local)
  • Input your Access Key (@ https://ai-polyglot.com/dashboard)

Experiencing any issues?

• Collapse and reopen side-panel
• Refresh Whatsapp page
• Try switching to another chat and back within Whatsapp, or
• Sign-out of the side-panel and sign back in.
