This is the best Google Docs dark mode extension I have found. Not only is it open source, but it works as advertised and has easy to use customizations. I especially like that you can turn the background to the page dark, and not the page itself. Thank you for this!

It is really good! I would recommend that there's a version or the home screen for Google Docs, since swapping between them hurts a lot!
The latest update removed color customization. Full dark mode is way too high contrast for me and leaves burn-in in my eyes when I look away. It's not useful without the custom colors.
